The Brief

Marrime are a boutique bridal shop based in Jesmond, Newcastle. Their aim is to provide brides with their dream designer wedding dress and styling accessories. Behind their doors, you’ll find a haven of hand-selected contemporary wedding dresses that highlight independence, creativity, and individual style.

When Marrime first approached Wriggle in 2023 their website had little to no digital presence. The website had been built without SEO best practices in mind and they had never done any form of paid search. The client’s objective was to increase their local SEO presence for wedding dresses and to sell more accessories online on a national basis through PPC.

Our Approach

Our SEO efforts started immediately and with the website having very few fundamentals in place we started to build the technical foundations. From this point we focused on local keywords that would drive footfall and enquiries such as ‘bridal shop newcastle’ and ‘wedding dresses newcastle’.

We did this through Google Business Profile optimisation and location-based SEO content. Our efforts from an SEO perspective have resulted in the below results. From a PPC / shopping perspective there was a considerable amount of work to do. We began with building and launching the campaign across both Google and Bing. We highlighted a need for a range of Ad Types including shopping ads, we started by creating a merchant feed then we tested a range of attributes to further optimise performance. The feed was then added to our Comparison Shopping Service (CSS) to allow us to be increasingly competitive.

This is still an active client of Wriggles where we continue to develop their digital marketing presence.
